SD 5.0 Beta installed but no popup blocker

I have installed SD 5.0 Beta but the Popup Blocker is missing from the list of guards displayed by OnGuard Protection. I have been told by PC Tools Support that it should have been present.

Hi Peter, The popup blocker is disabled on systems with Internet Explorer 7 installed. Have you got IE7?

Yes, I do have IE7, so that explains it then.

I have no popup blocker listed in the On Guard section of latest Spyware Doctor v5, though I do not have IE7 or Firefox on my XP system. I still have IE 6, but no Spyware Doctor Popup blocker. Any idea what could be the cause of this apparent anomoly, so that I can get Popup Blocker back? I was used to it with v4, so immediately missed it with v5. Thanks, MrTom:confused:

I learned from PCTools Support in a related topic area that the popup blocker is temporarily removed from recent dowloaded versions, but is expected to be back via update/dowbload in the foreseeable future.:o
