At the moment, looks like there are no updates. When I perform an update, the box displays and it also closes.

I think the next version will include updates.

I remember reading this in one of the earlier threads.

Are there any updates yet?
Which version # is next and is it free.
Are the unregistered versions supported with updates?

You're not alone guys.
I think this problem is experienced by everyone even on the latest version.

From what I've read when registering it should be optional, but I just did it anyway for fun. :D ;)

Smart update is automatic in the firewall. It runs at windows startup and detects new software. Updates are NOT regular...usually they are version updates.

However, we have released PC Tools Firewall Plus 2.0.0.9 and this version will include updates.

I did a clean install of version 1, therefore the smart updater wasn't needed.

The Smart Update currently does not work basically because the product was launched yesterday, thus, there are not updates yet. We will issue updates as soon as they are ready
