Ok, when I start my NT it seems not to load. There is only a black screen with a cursor and no error msg. Iīve try to restore it using the installation CD, but it asked me for a emergency disk, which I donīt have. You see my problem is that I canīt reinstall, I have to make this one work.

Would you happen to have a copy of it on a network, if so install it from there, if not most likely you will have to get a new disk.

Did you try the space bar during boot to revert to the "last good" ? To back out the last configuration change may not be quite what you are hoping for, but may give you access to your system.
What you can do, is to install a fresh copy of NT in a new directory, do not reformat the partition. You will loose all your current user and security settings, but you may at least be able to recover your data. From my experience, a rather messy job.
As of the ERD Emergency Restore Disk, the procedure of building this disk is very important in a WinNT/2K environment and must be repeated with every major change of configuration (HW & SW).
