Registry Mechanic vs. Outlook Express Spell Check

I have run Registry Mechanic three times - once to repair an actual problem (which it did well), and twice more to check my registry. Each time it has encountered a problem or two and fixed them. However, apparently it has also invoked the Law of Unintended Consequences - after the repairs are done, the spell checker on Outlook Express no longer works. What's even more strange, Outlook Express requests that I reinstall Microsoft Picture It to fix the problem. Even stranger, reinstalling Picture It does fix the problem.

Has anyone else run into this situation?
