How does one register a purchased copy with disc, manual, registration code, and errors stating invalid code. Have tried all the hoops.

Hi stephenyart,

Is this for Registry Mechanic? If you have purchased a Retail CD of RM, make sure you install the version from the CD to activate your copy. If you have downloaded RM from the PC Tools website, please uninstall this version.

Once you activate your copy of RM, you will receive an email with your license details in it. Use this license code to register RM, you can also download the latest version from the website once you have registered.

All,
After purchasing a retail copy of Registry Mechanic 5.1 and spending a significant amount of time trying to get registered, I've concluded one single customer does not matter in the scheme of things. I've sent proof of purchase to Tien Nguyen

I've received a reply via this forum from Achen, follow directions with no success!
I work for Bausch & Lomb Surgical Services: St. Louis, Missouri and our first priority would be the customer, getting them up and running to secure good relations, future sales, service, ect.
This forum is an excellent tool for sharing information between users and support and I intend to remain a member, however investing future time and/or monies in PC Tools products and services is doubtful at this point. If anyone in this forum has any input or suggestions, feel free.

Follow up info:
Reading an forum entry I found a # 1-800-764-5783 and connected to PC Tools Sidney Australia. She verified proof of purchase from a web page attachment I had sent but still needs a scanned Email attachment of my activation code. This info is intended to help users that have had retail purchase registration problems.

Stephen,

We need to see the scanned copy of the activation code as there has been instances of people providing incorrect codes or miss-reading the code and that was causing the problem. If the code is legit we can also manually activate it and send you license details.

If you send another reply to Tien with the scanned copy of the activation code I will also watch the ticket for you and follow up personally if required.

After providing all information requested on my retail purchased version of Registry Mechanic 5.1, PC Tools has upgraded my license to their latest. Running seamlessly thus far.
