Just wondering if anyone knows of a registry tweak or whatnot to remove the right click "Set As Wallpaper" option you get from right clicking on pictures in IE 5 browser.

backup your registry

Here's some restrictions..... The one you want is NoBrowsercontextmenu.

copy everything between the solid lines and paste into notepad. Save the file as ie.reg. double click it to add it into the registry. Open IE internet options. select the advanced tab. You'll now have a new category named restrictions.

Disable as you like.

here is a seperate file to create. name it accessIE.reg

these two entries will enable the advanced and advanced tab options.

The difference between the two is the advanced option will allow users to view the options in the advanced tab but the user will not be able to check or uncheck any entries.

The advanced tab option will hide the advanced tab entirely.

Hey, thanks for the .reg files, but that removes the whole right click menu. I'm still wondering if there's anyway to remove specific items from the menu? Like say remove "set as wallpaper" and "open link" but keep "save target as" and "save picture as"?
