I had to do a complete reinstall of Windows XP on my computer, Due to my lil sister downloading something that she should not have. So, I reinstalled Spyware Doctor. I thought that I would not have to activate Spyware Doctor again , But as I opend the program it tells me to activate so I can receive updates. So I did. I enterd my activation code again and it tells me that it's already taken. So what do I do? I have it installed on my computer, I just cant activate it so I can get updates. Do I need a new activation code or what? Please help if you can!

King_freak22,
You have 2 options to choose from:
1. Activate using the same details
If you wish to reinstall from the CD you will need to use the exact same name and activation code (Please note that the name used for activation is case sensitive, so it must be entered exactly the same as the first time e.g. John Smith is not the same as john smith). To reactivate Spyware Doctor on your computer you may wish to try activating again if you remember the name used to register initially.
If you can't remember these details you can send an email to support@pctools.com with a scan of the activation code and either a copy of the receipt or a copy of the proof of purchase tab on the box and we will be happy to provide you with the details.
2. Register the downloaded version.
If you still have access to the email you used when you initially activated you can get your license details from http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/lostcode/
Then uninstall the cd version and download the Spyware Doctor trial from our website http://www.pctools.com/spyware-doctor/download/
Once you have installed the trial version there is a button that says "Register Now" click that and enter your license details.
thanks
Nicholas
