Invalid reg. after installing internet security

Been running Registry Mechanic for a couple of weeks now after installing CA internet security 2007, my license is "invalid" and I cannot get it to work again. I tried everything found on this site. Unistalled, reinstalled registry mechanic, updated the VBS run time components for windows. Nothing works. When I run in safe mode, my registration is fine. Tried tweaking settings in the security suite. Still no luck. What am I missing?

This was a known issue with Registry Mechanic and CA internet security 2007 and has been addressed from CA. To resolve this, could you please upgrade to the latest version of CA internet security.

When was this issue supposedly taken care of by CA? I am completely up to date and the problem still exists. I guess I should have taken the reviews for the suite a little more seriously.

It may be possible that this issue has returned. I have escalated this and we will need to contact CA regarding a fix for this.

Once I receive more info, I will let you know.

Thank you for the response. I have decided to uninstall CA. It has cause other problems as well. Maybe this situation can be resolved for other.
