Hi All :)
I have a question, the Pc tools firewall does not show up in Windows services :confused: but the windows firewall which in theory should be off is actually on and started :eek: so i decided to take a look in control panel and every thing seems normal Windows firewall off security center says pc tools is the firewall.
My question is way Pc tools firewall does not show up in the services.
An other thing when i do S.doctor4 and now beta 5 updates i have to turn it off but if i do PcTools A.V up dates no problem at all.

Hey arilo76,

I did a search and found the following:

The smart updates for SD should work unless you have blocked the smart updates for Spyware doctor on the Firewall Plus.
Go to Applications-> PC Tools update | c:Program Files/Spyware Doctor/ and see if this has the green tick. If it has the red minus sign, click on it to allow the application.

thanks for the link, regarding the up dates the updates are allowed to run i check it but still i have to turn off the firewall.
I try to sent the malware report (for info look at spy doctor forum SPYWARE_KEYL_ABCKEYLOGGER) but i had to turn off the firewall, it didn't prompt asking if allow or not because is a new task.
