So I find a work around to give permissions to access the Internet and all is well, I check the firewall at shieldsup and all is excellent. I register and get my registration code and things start to deteriorate: I can fill in my name and code, but I cannot see any button to send or apply them. Hitting enter, or tabbing and hitting enter do nothing. Please advise on a work around or alternate method.
Thanks
John

Hey j2saret,

I found another thread which may be able to resolve the problem you are having. Its not related to the registration box, but the Allow, Block display. It seems similar enough. So give this a shot:

"The problem you are experiencing with not being able to see the 'Allow', 'Block' display is related to the DPI settings. At the moment the Firewall is only supported by the 96 DPI setting. It appears that your computer is set to 120 DPI.

Please note that this will be fixed in the next version. But as a workaround, please see below:

1. Go to desktop
2. Right click and select properties
3. Choose settings tab
4. Click on advanced button
5. Change DPI settings from 120 to 96 and apply"

Thanks, I was just dropping back to say I had found a pattern of tabs and spacebar that sent the registration.
My display is set for my photo printing program (studio line) and I am loathe to change it as restoring my wife's families 100+ year old photos is the only use she sees for my computing hobby. It is good to know that the problem has a solution and an upgrade on the way. All in all this is the best (so far) firewall I have used.
