Unable to download mail with Beta 3

I am unable to download email using Thunderbird - the programme just hangs.
With Beta 2 I was able to overcome this problem by turning off the e-mail guard with Beta 3 this is not possible.

It also seems to take even longer for Firefox to start up with Beta 3 than Beta 2.
In my experience so far Beta 3 is a backwards step compared to Beta 2 which I will reinstall.

The reason that Thunderbird hangs on my PC when trying to download mail may be a conflict between SD and F-Secure ISS which I also have installed and which has an e-mail scanning component.

The problem with the Beta 3 release is that it no longer provides an option to configure or disable e-mail guard for some reason.

The only solution I have found is to revert back to Beta 2 which like Beta 1 has this option.

Hi Saxel,

Please be aware that this issue has been escalated. As you mentioned the Email Guard is active, however, it is not being displayed as an OnGuard tool.
