Beta 2 and Thunderbird problems

Just wanted to pass on my experience with Beta 2 and Thunderbird. Looks like the problems that were reported in the previous version are still not corrected. I loaded beta 2 last night hoping that most of the bugs had been worked out but there is still a way to go. The install went well and everything seemed to be working until I fired up Thunderbird to check the mail. The app just hung and the connection timed out. :( I disabled mail guard and the trouble went away.
Hope this one gets fixed in the next release.

Hi klystron,

This is one of the known issues with the email guard. Please note that any email software that uses a pop3 protocol, will come across this issue. Our developers are currently working on a fix for this.

As you have done, a workaround is to disable the email guard for the time being.
