Spyware Doctor 5.0 Beta Slows entire PC

I installed the current Spyware Doctor 5.0 Beta. I currently have 4.0 with XP Media Edition operating system. The installation of the 5.0 Beta installed with no problems. I tried to open and it was slow. Then I tried my internet and it took forever. Then I tried other computer programs and every program took forever to open. Forever I mean minutes not seconds. Then the computer the next day froze. I rebooted and still slow. I installed my previous version Spyware Doctor 4.0 and the computer froze at the end installation. I had to pull the plug on my computer.
I restarted and the computer without Spyware Doctor 5.0 Beta works great. Everything is moving quickly as before.
I hope PC Tools irons out the bugs because I can not use the new 5.0 as is.:eek:

Can you please give examples of which programs you tried to open?
Also, did you have any other security programs installed and running at the same time (such as Firewall, AntiVirus, etc)?
