Following a suggestion from technical support I download the above and installed it after uninstalling the previous version that I was having problems with.

Unfortunately after the installation my computer was left with severe problems culminating in it not re booting at all.

On re starting my computer following installation Spyware Doctor wanted to update. Access could not be made to the web. A problem I had with the previous version. In that if you started SWD before connection you could not get connected to a web page. I always had to access the web then start SWD.

I also noted that McAfee security centre had been disabled (the usual red icon on task bar was black).

I then went to restart again hoping this would solve the problems I found that I could only get as far as the Windows desk top back ground. No icons or anything else. I could not run any programme or access any file. Tried re starting several times with the same result. Then tried to re start in Safe Mode. I was not able to. Tried this several times with the same result.

Eventually tried again using the f8 at start up options so as to Start Using Last Known Configuration that was Known to Work. This worked - thank God. McAfee was still disabled.

Was able to uninstall SWD V5.

With the brief time I could see the programm after the first reboot it seems that it loads at Start Up like it or not. Can this be disabled so you can start it up as and when you want it?

Since then I have been trying to get my computer back to a condition I can use as other things seem to have been altered, for example some codex's seem to have been corrupted ? removed?

I am loath to reinstall the original version let alone have a go at using the beta again. Is this all good money down the drain?

What to do?

A less than happy customer.

I heard there's beta version 2 which maybe resolve any previous problems.

I downloaded this from below link.
