hello All, I Just Wanted To Let Reg. Mech. Know That I Just Upgraded To Windows Vista Ultimate, And I'm Having The Same Problem As (i See) Alot Of Others. I Run The Prog. And It Finds 115 Errors And Corrects 15 And Does Not Correct The Balance Of 100. I Just Downloaded And Uninstalled And Reinstalled The 6.0 Version....you Know The One Thats Compatable With Windows Vista...hahahah! It's My Oppinion That Reg. Mech. Support Staff Needs To Get On The Ball. It's Not Like You Didn't Know That Vista Wasn't Comming....you Had Plenty Of Warning!! Not To Mention That Your Delibertly Missleading The Public Saying That The 6.0 Version Is Compatable With Vista..better Change Your Story Before You End Up With A Class Action Lawsuite!!!! Oh I Have Sent 2 Support Requests Over The Last Few Days And Have Not Gotten A Reply Back From The Support Staff. Thanks For Your Time And Effort...not!! Oh Btw I'm Using Regicure...it Works Great With Windows Vista. They Wern't Sitting With There Thumbs Up There Asses Like Some Companies We Know Of....i Won't Mention Any Names Pc Tools.

After installing RM on my new system Vista Ultimate, the program won't even run at all: message "the program has stopped working". 4 downloads & 4 reinstallations later, same problem. Seems like during installation something is not getting to the system registry...
Wrote to support, never replied!
Woah!!!
Any help if worth it will be appreciated.

As mentioned in the post referenced by riFFz it seems a new version is being tested so once they release that version our vista problems should hopefully be fixed.
I wrote to support and was told a new version is with QA now.

I upgraded to Vista home premium and have the same problem will not clean out deep scan problems. Email and sent log file to RM support and was told that Rm6 is Vista compatible but it has not been officially passed as 100% Vista compatible and that they are working on one that is supposed to be Vista compatible. Makes sense huh.Got this email on 2/12/2007. So what that tells me is that they waited for Vista to come out and us consumers to complain and let them know where the problems are in their software.::mad:

Hi Elmer,
Please be aware that this is resolved with the next version of Registry Mechanic. All I can say is that this will be released within the next week or 2.
Will let you know more asap.
