I did format my laptop as I had this the message "Infineon CpUR sDll not found" on it......
Did try which program did cause it after formating a few times more and found out it was my Registry mecanic cleaner when the clean up was done. Running Windop xp pro........How to eliminate that problem, thanks

Registry Mechanic makes backups before it deletes any registry keys so if it caused a problem you can restore the automatic backup and see if it was Registry Mechanic that did cause the problem.

LaPuce,
Registry Mechanic "ate" an Infineon TPM dll on my brand new PC & then when I ran a Symantec removal tool to get rid of Norton Suite in favor of security apps of my choice, I rebooted & received a msg on the desktop:
Infineon
Catastrophic Failure
The PC went into Hibernate mode. I was unable to return to a time when Windows was stable without the same message & again Hibernate mode.
I removed Infineon from Control/Add Remove Progs & things were asymptomatic until I went to the PC manufacturers site to d/l Infineon from the Original Drivers & Software section.
I was unable to install. It didn't recognize the chips, the hardware component of Infineon on the PC.
Since the PC was 12 days old at the time, I was able to return it. My new PC also has Infineon. I'd never even setup the program on the first PC.
i spoke with the company in Germany, after Registry Mechanic targeted it, & was told to ask PC Tools. I didn't get anywhere. I had already whitelisted the app.--Now I'm leary of Registry Mechanic!
I can't destroy a second PC! I don't know what came first the chicken or the egg! I'd thought there was something wrong with Infineon, because I'd never experienced a problem with Registry Mechanic. Now that I read your post, I wonder?
Infineon is obviously a pain. But do not let RM "fix" automatically! I'm interested in what's become of your situation--apparently more than PC Tools!
PM me if you'd like.
Michele

by the look of it you will need to restore Infineon DLL from Registry Mechanic backup or what ever it is to make it working again then I maybe can help you troubleshoot it by sending me Registry Mechanic log files, I have been using Registry Mechanic for a long while now and know a fair bit about it.
Follow instructions below to send the log file.
1. Start Registry Mechanic and complete a full scan (DO NOT complete a repair).
2. Close Registry Mechanic.
3. Navigate to the "\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\Log" and "\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\Data" folder and attach all the files in the "\Log" and "Data" directory.
4. You may want to compress them using zip or rar as they can be rather large.

Yes it was registry mecanic that did cause the problem, as I just did download my virus protection and the window updates, and then Registry mecanic and nothing else. As soon as Registry mecanic did the clean up, I had the problem.........did try a few times to format my pc and everytime it did happen after Registry mecanic did the clean up.
Before, everything works well.......
On an other forum someone had the same problem, didn't know how to fix it.
Sorry for my english, french background.
Will try one more time and will do the restore to see If I'm really right......
Will keep in touch.

Ok thanks for your help, will do that as soon as I have a bit of time, will reformat my pc first, as it is an Asus and easy to do, and will send you the log file.
I have a desktop computer and never had any problem with Registry mecanic with it and still working fine..
Sorry for my english, french background

:o I did get rid of Registry Mecanic as they never answer any technical request and have found another wonderful registry cleaner.
I did the registry cleaning and of course my Dll was missing when I did reboot my computer.
You can choose which program you want to clean, etc
I went to recovery and found my Dll with no problem, did recover it and voila everything is ok even after rebooting and doing a second cleanup of the Dll, it didn't appear anymore in the list.
Everything is ok bye bye Registry Mecanic. Lost my money for something better, that's life.
Thanks to everybody who did try to help me:)

its good you found some thing that helps, unfortunately the log file you have attached is not complete, their should be an additional file call "scan.log".
Anyways if you are still have interest in using Registry Mechanic, just attached the log file here so I can have a look. Remember make sure Infineon is working before sending the log file so I can see the entries get detected.

I think the mods removed that zip after downloading it as it contained register.log which showed his license details

Yeeehaaaa admin pm me with the log, so it does appear that rm picking up infineon and I have tried to make a fix for you below, so give it a try then let me know if that any help. This fix is actually adding Infineon to rm ignore list so it wont remove any infineon entries.
Solution:
======
*Make sure Registry Mechanic is close before following instructions below*
1. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\Data
2. Open exData.txt --> Add (copy and paste) the texts below exactly as its appear provided in the exData.txt. If the exData.txt does not exist in the Data folder see Creating TXT below to create the file can exData.txt.
c:\program files\infineon\
\program files\infineon\
c:\program files\infineon\security platform software\
\program files\infineon\security platform software\
c:\program files\asus security center\
\program files\asus security center\
3. Save the file exData.txt by Pressing on File -> Save
4. Reopen Registry Mechanic
From now on Registry Mechanic should not detect those Infineon file in the future.
Creating exData.TXT (if the file does not exist:
===============================================
1. Go to C:\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\Data
2. Go to File -> New -> Text Document
3. Rename it to exData
exData should now be created.
