:D I downloaded the demo and was grateful that this program was the only one that could find files on my hard drive that was messed up by a crash and fixboot/fixmbr.

 However using this software is becoming more painful than experiencing the hard drive crash. It takes days (3) to get through the Scanning bar and then it hangs up just when it should be finishing

So after letting it run for days only to have it hang, I decided to Pause and recovery halfway. Which worked until it crashed during the recovery. It even hangs when I do Help->About.

I regret having spent money for this. It is causing me pain and delaying me getting my computer back up.

I have called tech support with no answer or response, I have sent an email directly to support and used the web form with no response.
This is the forum is the third method I've tried.

Also, during the whole scanning process it hasn't found one word document so I suspect that that filter isn't working. The filter only lets you choose file sizes below a certain threshold for some reason. I'd like to to only get jpeg that are above a certain level so I skip all the little jpgs from browser sessions, etc.

I would like my money back on this product.

Hi hellms,

That is unfortunate to hear File Recover did not perform up to your expectation. Can you please provide me with your ticket number so I can escalate your incident properly and see if our technical support can assist you in your endeavour to recover files.
