hello~
i have a question that has been bugging me for quite a while. how do i change my windows username, which i specified when i first got my computer, so that the change is reflected throughout the system? i am talking about the name that appears on the start menu above "shutdown", where it says "logoff [username]". i figured out where to change other information, such as my real name, my address, where i bought the computer, etc., but the username is not there. can anyone help me?

Logoff then when the dialog box pops up click cancel you wil log in as the default user, remove user, Yourname in CTL Panle >> Users. Log off and when dialog pops up again type new name (and password if you want one) login viola new user.
You will lose all current user registry settings I dont know a way of a way to prevent this Ive never had to change user names.
