Hi All,

Installing my first Enterprise Edition, server is Windows Server 2003. Successfully added client computer to the list. When I initiate the client installation process, I receive the following error message:

Failed to create directory {\\ibmx41laptop.tamers.local\admin$\EMClient\}. Reason - {Windows OS Error: Not enough server storage is available to process this command.}

If they're referring to hard drive space, I have over 17GB's on the HD. Client PC has 13GB's.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Jaison

Jaison, thanks for contacting PC Tools.

In regards to the client install difficulties.

Could you please try installing that client PC localy?

The 'sdsetup.ini' file should indicate the name of the computer on which a Spyware Doctor Enterprise Server is to be installed. This file is used by 'sdsetup.exe' to set the name of the Spyware Doctor Enterprise Server computer automatically during Spyware Doctor Enterprise Client installation.

To install several Spyware Doctor Enterprise Clients on the enterprise:

1. Edit the 'sdsetup.ini' file located in '....\PC Tools Spyware Doctor Enterprise\Setup' and change the default field next to 'SDESERVER=' to the Fully Qualified Name or IP Address of the computer on which Spyware Doctor Enterprise Server is installed.

2. Copy the modified 'sdsetup.ini' file and the 'sdsetup.exe' installation file onto removable storage (for example, a CD-ROM, CD-RW or USB flash drive), ensuring they are copied to the same directory.

3. Use the removable storage medium to install the Spyware Doctor Enterprise Clients, by running the 'sdsetup.exe' installation file. Spyware Doctor Enterprise Clients are automatically configured with the name of the Spyware Doctor Enterprise Server defined in the 'sdsetup.ini' file.

*It is important to ensure that the computer name on which Spyware Doctor Enterprise Server is installed is correct, since the installer does not verify the server name indicated in 'sdsetup.ini'*

Sorry for the delay... however, this process DID work. I was testing it out in our lab. However, when I went to deploy it at our customer site, things worked beautifully. Thanks for your help!
