 Ok heres the deal

In a frenzy of my PC freezing upon startup, i somehow managed to Click
Start> Run and then managed to select from the Drop Down Menu
""C:\Program Files\Spyware Doctor\swdoctor.exe" /RL"

Which gets rid of the current license on your Spyware Doctor program....so great now my Spyware Doctor is useless...

I then retrieve my Account details by searching my paperwork for the printed out "recipet", if you must.

I enter these details to only then be slapped in the face with

"YOU HAVE ENTERED AN INVALID USER NAME or LICENSE CODE. PLEASE TRY AGAIN LATER."

...which i havent i then checked my details again...entered them "Correctly" only to be told they were WRONG...AGAIN

So i then retrieve my details by typing my email address in to the apprpriate field, on the site.
I then check these ones that have been sent to me by PCTools assuring me that YES i am a registered fully payed for account holder...

Only to again be told the details are wrong.

Im losing trust with Spyware Doctor slowly, which i dont wish to ever, as its a fantastic piece of software.

If there is a moderator that wishes to check my details they are more than welcome to do so.

But please please can somebody help me..

Thankyou :)

Dean

Hi Deano,

Could you please PM me your License Name and Code as well as your e-mail address so that I can have a look further of your current subscription status.

Cheers,

Joshua

This happens to me frequently (2-3 times per month).

I'm using Spyware on a laptop - XP Profession environment (business application) connected to a multi-user network. Spyware is installed to run under my user ID only; and works in both the docked and undocked states; as well as connected adn disconnected tothe network.

I've noted that the error occurs after an update has occured the my laptop is warm-rebooted; or when an update has occured and my next cold bootup is with the laptop undocked & not logged into my work network.

The Invalid User / expired License clears up with another re-boot. Interestingly enough; when the error status shows up on the frontend screen, the correct user id and valid license number can be viewed from the Help/About menu item within Spyware.

Hi bakdbeenz,

Are you still having problems with your registration?

Anthony,

Like I posted, the problem clears up with a reboot. Don't know; but suspect it has to do with differences between my "docked" profile and my "undocked-not connected my work network" profile.

Problem last happened this past Tuesday.

Hi Guys,

Please be careful with the/RL command.

By performing the RL command your old license will no longer work in your computer EVER, unless you format it. If at anytime you need to use the old license again you won't be able to.

It is more of a last resort if no other process will help the customer.
