port forward

hi all, just need some tech advice, i use utorrent ( p2p client) and have set up a port forward on the fw but when i close the program the port is still open, how do i config it so it stops when utorrent stops.. this is the only firewall i have known to do this but it is probably something i have done..

if someone could give step by step instructions i'd be grateful...

Could you please send us the version of utorrent you use and how do you test that the ports are still open (netstat?)

i am using utorrent 1.6 build 474 and used netstat to check traffic, and it is still leaving the port open, in the fw applications list it still shows utorrent running but everywhere else it shows it is closed. ie, task manager and win xp manager... i find it odd that the program can still run in the firewall but thats what it is doing...

I did not know you could do port forwarding with this firewall. That is a trick I would love to try, how did you do it ?

We are in the process of testing this application. So far we have not detected any problem with the TDI driver of the firewall. We will let you know our finding. Thanks for the info.
