Hello, thanks in advance for any help.
I'm new to registry hacking and made a latenight error. Currently, in Control Panel, I'm unable to open Add New Hardware, Modem, Network, or System. Every other Control Panel item opens and functions.
I did two things, one of which I did before falling asleep at the keyboard. I altered a line to open my computer in a split window explorer style, and then slept. The other is that I previously installed Icon Phile which can change all windows icons. I've since restored the icons. Unfortuneatly I haven't done a recent back-up (never again will I skip that step!) so I don't know how to undo the split window hack.
-any ideas?
