View Full Version : Help on disabling the Windows key

I figured that there would be a registry hack/tweak that would do this as this and I found one here at http://registry.winguides.com/display.php/549/ , but, it doesn't seem to work.

I inserted the new value and rebooted, but the Windows keys still continue to function and I'd really like them ~off~.

Yes, yes, find a keyboard withOUT Windows keys.... Good luck. I've got some older keyboards lying around, but I like my current one, just can't stand the Windows keys getting in the way all the time.

If anyone has any idea how to kill these keys for good (short of ripping them off), please let me know.

Hi there... i´ve used a program called "WinkeyKiller"...but i dunno where i got it ,,just do a search...and you probably find it....good luck.....(i love my keyboard without the winkey,,,its old like ***** but its working great)
