I want to install Registry Mechanic on a dedicated Video PC in another location that is NOT connected to the internet. I downloaded the trial programm on to a removeable disk and transferred it to the video PC. My question is "How do I register and pay for this when the programme is on a machine not connected to the internet. The programe file is still on the movable disk of course?" Peter Stedman

Hi Peter,

In regards to your query, If you would like to use Registry Mechanic on a computer that does not have internet connection, you can simply install Registry Mechanic in that computer and then purchase the subscription through computer that is connected to the internet. After you have successfully completed the purchase, you will receive a license details in your email that you can use to register Registry Mechanic on the other computer that does not have internet connection.

Hey Peter,

Registry Mechanic (or the computer that it is installed on) needs to be connected to the internet in order for you to be able to download any updates.

However, as updates are added directly to the version of Registry Mechanic on the PC Tools website, if you re-download Registry Mechanic, you will benifit from any updates and upgrades that have been made to the program up until that point.

Note: If the computer you want to install Registry Mechanic on is not connected to the internet, you can download Registry Mechanic onto a USB drive and transfer it to the other computer. When you download Registry Mechanic, simply select your USB drive as the place to save the rminstall.exe file.

Note 2: Before you install Registry Mechanic again, you should uninstall the version of Registry Mechanic you already have, from your computer to allow for a smooth installation.
