Registry Monitor Log Location

The Reistry Mechanic page used to enable the Registry Monitor says, "The monitor will log these captured events and store them for review." Where is the Registry Monitor log located? :confused:

Hi oconnke1,

If you wish to view the Registry Mechanic log, you will need to save the sessions.

When you open up the monitor it will display a list then just save it to view it in the future.

Anthony, I'm a little confused. Perhaps I was unclear in the way I asked my question.

I received an email from you that said the log is
C:\Program Files\Registry Mechanic\ref\English.mon. The content of this file appears to be an addendum to the english.ini file, as opposed to a log of changed registry entries. The last modification date is 25-OCT-2006 and today is 14-JAN-2007.

The previous entry in this thread mentions the Registry Mechanic log and a monitor list. I'm interested in the monitor list, if this is an alternate name for the monitor log. I then right-clicked on the RM icon and selected "View Registry Monitor." The resultant window contains one item in the list,
01/14/07 11:40:44 PM | File Extensions | <Registry Location>. However, it's not selectable, so I can't copy it and save it. The only way to save it seems to be to take a snapshot of the window. Is this what you intended?

Oconnke1,

Registry Mechanic Monitor doesn't store any log file for users to view, the list in the monitor will clear up when the user restart/shutdown Registry Mechanic however the quota is retained.

Example: If the quota is set to 50 while the user is running Registry Mechanic with the monitor turn on. If the monitor logged 48 entries and the user shutdown Registry Mechanic when it start back up it will continue from 48 where it left off then when it hits 50 quota it will prompts the user to perform a scan via a popup message.
