i have just add the control panel and the dial-up networking to my start menu now i am trying to add a new system folder one that i have created (my folder) i can get it under my computer and everything that is in the folder show up but when i add it to the start menu all i get is a grayed out "empty" now i got this the first time i did the control panel also and it turned out that i left the . out between the word and the folder key number so i have checked and recheck the entry and still come up with the same thing does anyone have a clue as to what i may have done wrong.

When DUN and My Computer are added to the Start menu, you have to drag the items in the original folders and drop into the new folders as shortcuts (not the case with Control Panel or History - go figure) - maybe you'll have to do the same with your new folder??

did that if i go to the start menu and right click and go to open and then select my folder the items are in their also they just do do show up when you click the folder in the start menu bar :)
i dont know i think i am missing something from the shell key. i dont know
