1. There are 2 states for application, blocked and unblocked. I would like another 'ask'.
2. It is too easy to click on the blocked or unblocked app. icon, and it flips-flops between states on each click without notification - very dangerous!:(
3. I would like to be able to sort the apps list, alphabetically, eg by clicking on the column heading.
4. Network handing meeds improvement/handholding.
5. It seems very stable on my system which was not the case with others I have used recently.:D

Thanks for the comments!
1. Agreed, this is a feature request for a future version.
2. OK; we'll have a look at this and see if we should add a popup confirmation.
3. Agreed, this is also a feature request.
4. Can you please elaborate a bit on what you find troublesome?
5. Great!
Best,
Simon

Please look at my post with the subject of 'Trusted Zones' from yesterday. I'm still unsure that I have got it right even though I can now access the network.

Hi, first let me say that, thus far I really like your firewall. I believe you have the basis for a great firewall and I hope that you are sincere in actively developing it to make it even better. Too often new firewalls appear that offer promise but then fall by the wayside; I sincerely hope this isn't one of those.
Now if I may, I would like to offer some user suggestions for what I think would be positive improvements.
1. I agree with henryg_1, add the "ask" option for applications in addition to the existing, "blocked" and "authorized".
2. Right clicking on the tray icon allows me to "disable" the firewall but I believe a good addition would be to also have a "block all" option so the user could immediately stop all internet traffic.
3. I would like to see a "Network" section where I could define some network rules, like a "trusted" network.
4. While not the highest priority in my opinion, I do think that improvement in the ability to handle "leaktests" are needed. I only performed one simple leaktest using the Gibson Research leaktest and the firewall failed.
5. I would like to have the ability to password protect the firewall to prevent unauthorized changes to the settings.
6. And finally, for now :), I would like to see the firewall process protected against being disabled or killed. Currently it can be killed easily via the task manager. Maybe it could be started as a protected service.
Keep up the good work

Hi,
Thanks for all the suggestions.
I have passed this on to the Firewall developers. We will definitely be considering some of the new features for future versions.
