When I put in the CD and look at password list editor in the system policy editor, there's a list of may-be 5 or 6 different web sites, I can't see the whole path cause the window won't expand, but I was wondering what these were. If they are passwords, why aren't some of my passwords on it?

When you enter some secure web sites, a popup dialog box will ask for your Username and password. On that box is also a check box which says "Save this password in your password list" so if this box is checked the password will get saved, these are sites I would guess you are seeing.

what you see is the site, the password is encoded, the password editor only lets you remove passwords, not change them. when removed, you will get a fresh prompted for the data.

Note: This encoding is not strong encryption. So if you have a shared and not a private machine, maybe it is better not to have passwords saved. There is a lot of freeware about to display the passwords in clear reading.
