HI ALL,
Having a weird IE problem on my Windows ME box. Using IE 6.0.
For some reason my Internet Explorer will not open certain web pages. In addition it will not oepn certain addresses that I type if I leave out the www. part. Like it will not accept google.com but www.google.com works fine.
For example, I want to go to home.peoplepc.com (which comes up). When I click the 'My Account' link on the top it works fine, but clikcing the 'Upgrade' or 'Sign-Up' fails. Also, any time I try to enter a username and password in any webpage it fails. (I noticed that they have an .asp extension)
I tried re-installing IE and I set everything back to default settings, plus I extracted a new copy of wsock32.dll... still to no luck. Thanks!

PS-- Changing OS's/browsers is not an option right now.
