NT Backup "schedule jobs" not working automatically (WNT)

Hello, I hope someone can help me here.

I have been backing up in the same way for a few years without any problems.

Then one day last week, My NT server stopped backing up automatically, based on the schedule I set up at the beginning.

No settings were modified.
The tape and drive work fine because when I do a manual backup, there are no problems.

It is just the automatic backup that quit working for some reason. I am stumped. Anyone have any suggestions?

Bit rusty on NT4 but....

....Perhaps the account you have used in the past for the scheduled backup operation is no longer valid, does not have the permissions (i.e. not in the Backup Operators group or higher) or the account is locked.
