hi all. this is my first post. i wanted to do a search but i dont know the key words. so i can do now is try to explain and hopefully it will be enough for some help here.

well i have a laptop with windows xp tablet pc edition.
the problem im experiencing is that it seems to be booting up with extra hidden programs that start up with the main programs. what i would like to do is to erase or clear out the start up protocal. i dont know if that was clear. its not the program in the start button and then in the "startup" area. i think its in the windows program or something in that area. i used to clear those out when i was using windows 3.0 , i mean the real old ones. i would have to set it to un hidden and then open it up and clear out the run commands. but with these newer windows i dont know where to do it. any help on this would be soo much appreciated.

By Microsoft, the Windows XP Tablet PC Edition 2005 operating system (features) has the full functionality of Windows XP Professional—expanded with enhancements specifically for the Tablet PC platform.
So try Start->Run->msconfig.
