<sorry if this is posted in the wrong spot>
Hi all. This is my first post here and my question is more or less an opinion from you all.
I am an Eng that works with mid to large scale companies. I have completed my MCSE and have alot of expieriance with enterprise edditions of 2003 and exchange2003. When SBS2000 came out i remember that it was ment to support the
small "mom and pop" businesses with 3 to 15 users and maxed out at 25. I gather this has all changed in the 2003 sbs software.
My question is if i have a network woth 50+ active users with email needs(heavy public folder and calander), printing needs, SQL needs, and file sharing needs with strick security, would SBS2003 be the pick for the client?
This is also a multi server setup, 1 server for sql, 2 servers for authentication/fileshareing, 1 server exchange, and 1 server for a bridgehead email s
erver.
LOL. yep 5 servers for 50 users.
My question is simple.
From what you read so far, is SBS2003 the server for this client? or would i want to just upgrade them to enterprise and try to condence all these servers to 2 servers.
BACKGROUND: I was called out for a disaster recovery of their exchange server and now i am being asked to help put them back on a positive path, so this is a new client for me.
Thanks for your consideration
