Just bought a mouse with a "hotkey" function. On my old mouse, I had the hotkey setup for F11 (fullscreen). For some crazy reason, the new mouse only allows F1 though F10 and some various other options. But not F11, the only one I need! Figures.
So, is there a way to switch the functions of hotkeys on Windows XP? Like swap F11 and F10? I've tried some various software like MAGIC HOTKEY and KEYBOARD ASSISTANT, but they only allow "maximize window" setting, not fullscreen.
Help?
Thanks

It may be most helpful to someone if the brand and model of the mouse were known, there's a bunch of them out there.

T.C Star
Model: TCM812
webpage (if you can call it that) http://www.tcstar.com.tw/
If you go to the website, you'll understand why I didn't bother putting the name and model of the mouse. I just wated to know if it's possible to somehow make F10 on a keyboard function as F11.

True, but then knowing the make and model will allow someone with experience with that make and model to post a response to your problem. Too many pieces/brands of hardware don't work with solutions for other pieces/brands. With computing things have to be very precise.

Windows resource kit contains utility remapkey.exe. It can do what you want. You can also find information about remaping with this google search phrase "windows remap key registry".

Thanks.
Yes, that changed the keys. However, only on the keyboard. It's very strange, but now when I press F10 on the keyboard it goes to full screen, but even though the mouse is set up to use F10, it still does the old function. I guess the mouse software is not actually using a key, but performing the actual task of each of the original keys.
Thanks for the help...I'll figure something out unless anyone has another solution.
