about:blank.....is so annoying! (WXP-Home)

hi, i'm new to this forum..

everytime i keep trying to go to a specific website..

i get the page "about:blank"..

i've loooked around online and found out that many people's internet explorer home page starts as about:blank..

but mine is not that case..

it starts normally, but for some pages (opening in a new window) come out as about:blank...

some people said there's a problem with spyware and stuff like that, but i've already checked for spywares, and viruses

please help me fix this!!

i've browsed it, but the only solutions they provide are for people whose internet's homepage is about:blank

my problem is when im i get the page about:blank if i try to open some of the websites..
