Hello

I'm trying to connect a workstation to the internet using the ICS service, the client finds the host's connection, but is unable to resolve addresses. funny thing is, the client works with hiports, i.e. Yahoo messenger and other programs set to use hiports work perfectly, but it doesn't browse the web or anything. DHCP and firewall settings seem to be fine. The internet connection on the host is fully functional
Any thoughts?

The client is running MS WinXP Home edition and the host is running XP Pro. SP2.

Thanks in advance.

Do you have a DNS server defined on the client machine?

Hello, thanks for the response,

The DNS server is auto assigned.
Firewall's turned off, but still no luck

You must specify the DNS server on the client TCP/IP settings, that is, the IP address of the 'server' machine...
