I have a brand new computer with Windows XP Home and IE6. I placed some sites in the "Favorites" menu and for a few days the site icon was next to the link. For some reason those Icons gradually disappear and are replaced by the icon of IE. Another problem that I have is that some of the sites on my Favorites menu are in Hebrew, I can see the contents of the site properly but the text in the Favorites menu is left to right rather than right to left, any advice?

As far as the icons go:
There are fixes, but I have found them to be temporary and unreliable in IE. So I download the icons and save them locally for sites that will be in my favorites list for a while then manually change the icons on the Internet Shortcuts to the local copies. The icons will be found at http://domain.name/favicon.ico
It will always be named "favicon.ico", but the "site-name" is per website.
