Hi

When I click on a link to an mp3 file in IE6, it opens the mp3 inside the browser and plays it with quicktime, without asking me what to do.

It use to ask me if I wanted to open, save or whatever, so I could have it play in winamp for example. I guess I at some point clicked for it to not ask anymore.

How do you get it back to asking. Where do you set the actions for the filetypes. And I am talking about the actions in IE, not the file associations in windows. Those I already know and they are correct.

thanks

Start Windows Explorer and look under Folder Options for the affected file name extension type (such as .mp3). Select the affected file type, and then click Advanced. In Windows Explorer make sure that the Confirm open after download check box is selected for that file type.
