Hi. I have a wired network at home with a Speedtouch 716 router/dsl modem. This of course plugs into the phone line and then one of the ethernet connections goes straight into my PC. This all works fine. However the other ethernet connection then feeds into a network hub, from which 3 other PC's are linked. This is just the way the network was set up so can't be changed! I can only seem to connect one PC thru the hub. Does anyone know how I could link up more PCs? I am sure you may need to ask questions so I look forward to any help!

Hi,
if I can understand from <a target="_blank" href=http://www.plus.net/support/broadband/help_and_setup/setup_guides/speedtouch716.shtml?pn_session=5a04e7fff06a029c3cd 0b3a01848935c> SpeedTouch 716 WL Setup Guide</a>, then your network topology seems to be as follows:

{Internet}
|
[DSL cable]
|
(router port side)
Speedtouch 716
(Ethernet 4-port side) ---- [Ethernet cable] ---- PC#1
|
[a hub may be (but need not be) inserted here)]
|
[Ethernet cable]
|
PC#n (n=2,3,4)

PC#1 can reach the Internet, PC#n can't.

Go to any of PC#n now.
1. Can you ping 192.168.1.254?
If you can't, set up your TCP/IP protocol properly.
2. Can you browse http://192.168.1.254?
If you can't, browse it from PC#1, take a look for some restrictive rules here (e.g. MAC addresses blocking, Firewall restrictions and so on).
