Hi,
I have a DSL router and do not have cable broadband anymore. I now have telephone line broadband and now can not use my DSL wireless router to transfer my internet connection to my laptop because it has only LAN connections.

I would like to know if possible I can use the wireless router as a hub and then somehow link the laptop with the hub on the host pc and transfer the internet connection using a PCMIA card. Can this be done and if so where do I start.
I would be grateful with any help.

I am misunderstanding your set-up. Can you clarify the scenario quite bit, please?
What device in use (designed to use) to connect the Internet? (router manufacturer and model/type)?
How many computers are you planning to use this router?

"...it has only LAN connections": notebook or router? In second case, how many LAN socket outlets?

"link the laptop with the hub on the host pc": what do you mean "the host pc" is?

"transfer the internet connection using a PCMIA card": trasfer where?

"PCMIA card": do you have it? What type?

Ok I do apologize for my lack of details at the start.
I use a Tiscali ADSL Phone line Broadband Modem.
I have Linksys Wireless Router with PCMIA Card I think the WkModel. I have one main PC with the broadband connection and one laptop where I would like the internet shared.
The router has only lan ports to connect network cables in, and the latptop has both modem and lan connections.
By the host PC I mean the main PC that has the broadband connection working on it.
I want to transfer and share the internet connection to my laptop.
Hope this helps.

Do not know WkModel.
However, take a look if Scenario 4b: Software Internet Sharing solution could match your situation, replacing the USB 802.11b adapter described there with your Linksys Wireless Router.
