I am on a multi-booting system and using ADSL internet. There is nothing wrong with the internet since it is working alright on win98 and winXP.
2. On win2k, however, the pages open alright in IE as well as Firefox ( and with good speed) but while small files load alright, medium and big files don,t get completely loaded and stop on the way.
3. Also, when I want to download a file, the downloader downloads 50 to 100 kb and stops. It happens in IE as well as on Firefox.
4. When I check my speed from bandwithplace.com, the test doesn,t get completed.
5. But when I update AVG or Avast the speed is perfect and the update gets completed without any hitch, even large updates.
6. The p2p LimeWire downloads files alright.
7. The browsers and browsing appear to be in trouble, both IE and Firefox.
8. I , even, tried repairing IE5 by the following link

But when I try to open the following link in Start >> Run
rundll32 setupwbv.dll,IE6Maintenance "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Setup\SETUP.EXE" /g "C:\WINDOWS\IE Uninstall Log.Txt"
I get the error “Error loading setupwbv.dll”
9. My win2k is installed in I:\ drive so I even changed the C:\,s in the above link to I:\ ,s and even tried changing IE6 to IE5 in the above link, but same result.
