I cannot delete a media pool from the remote storage manager. I get a message saying I must delete or move media from the pool before being able to delete it, the problem however is that I have done this and the media pool is empty yet i still get the same error, any ideas?

Every now and then there will be a hidden file in a folder that prevents deleting the folder. Right-clicking a folder and Properties will show something remaining, should be 0 Bytes if truly empty. Sometimes chkdsk has to be run to verify there is no fragment still there.

the problem is that it isnt a folder, in the media pool you create and name it and allocate tapes/cd's to the pool then run it as a schedule. Thanks for the advice but unfortunately it doesnt apply
