hibernate (W2K)

hey

i have a compaq laptop with wind0ws 2000 installed.

i went to power options and enabled hibernation, it was working fine, suddenly i did had the option to hibernate, and in power options hibernation tab is gone.

does enyone know how to fix it?

Hello,
Try going back into power options and click on the hibernate tab. ensure that it is enabled.
Then when you select shutdown from the start menu and you have the option to standby, shutdown or restart, hold down the left shift key. The option for Hibernation should now be there.
