View Full Version : Don't want to reveal the recipients mail ids in the E-mail

Hello friends,

i would like to know about what should i perform e-mail settings so that i able to hide recipients mail ids being seen by others when i send a mail to group of people. something like undisclosed-recipients displayed in the to field...

Any help would b greatly appreciated.

I think one of the NetTools programs allows you to do this.

That is called the "BCC" field. Your Email program should let you use the BCC field from the View menu. Recipients in BCC are not displayed.

So send the email to your own address in the To: field and everyone else's in the BCC: field. In Outlook Express the BCC: field isn't shown on a new mail by default. Click on the little address book icon beside the To: field and you will see a place to add BCC: recipients.
