Hello,

I have Windows 2000 server and winxp Clients. I have created 4 OUs with different users as members. And each OU is having seperate GPOs created and is working fine.

Now I want to create a new Policy in which only selected users should get effected. These selected users are from all the 4 OUs.

How do I achieve it?

Regards,
GDV

Hi

Download and install Group Policy Management Console from Microsoft (GPMC) and install on your Windows XP computer (or server 2003 if you have it).

Create your GPO and link it at the root of the domain.

Create a new group and add all of the users you want the gpo to be applied to.

Click on the GPO and select the filtering option and remove Authenticated Users and add the group you created earlier.

Test to ensure satisfactory results.

You must ensure your Windows 2000 DC(s) are at SP2 level or greater.

Hope this helps.
