I did a search and didn't see this question...
Is there any way to revert back to media player 6.4? If not; is there some way to speed up its' loading time? Granted, my home machine is old, but at work I have a p2 300 and it's still slow to load/close.

You still have Media Player 6.4 on your machine. The new Media Player 7 ( a groosly obese bucket of lard that wheezes its way to the desktop at the speed of a dying snail) justs takes away the shortcut icon for it.

Go to Start>Run, and type mplayer2. It's still used by some web sites that use the radio bar feature of Internet Explorer. I haven't personally tried it, but you may be able to uninstall version 7 and still retain the older version 6.

Thanks! I never even thought to look in add/remove programs! I uninstalled wmp7 and got my older, faster player back. Awesome!

I added a shortcut to mplayer2 in the "C:\Windows\SendTo" folder now I can use both versions. Just right click on the file to play in the old version and send to mplayer2 for old version or double click the file to play in the newer version.
