Startup Programs

I have an annoying problem with windows 98. Whenever I boot up my computer, there is a certain program that starts up without me wanting it to. I already used msconfig, i already tried to edit all the boot and startup files. any suggestions?

Did you check in the actual program for a startup option?

the program is aol, and the startup options i disbaled them all. i have no idea what to do now.

Try here also:
Go to Start>Run, type sysedit. Look over the autoexec.bat, click the win.ini and check for programs loading here:

load=
run=

Check the Start>Programs>Startup folder for shorcuts.
