How can I delete keys that are "access denied"? I need to delete a key that was used for a video card that I no longer use, but it will not let me, as it is still in the current control set key... I cannot delete from safe mode either. Is there a way I can do it from dos? Please let me know this has been driving me crazy. Thanks

Ok, I posted this same question before.

Run regedt32.exe instead of regedit.exe
Select the registry key you want to delete
Select the Permissions menu item from the Security menu
Give yourself permission to delete the key
Now you should be able to delete the key.
