I would like to come up with a specific script for work but I don't want to assume that this is the proper venue so I apologize for seeming pretentious.
I'd like to add FTP users to my server at work by:
-Creating an AD user
-Creating a password for that user
-Adding that user to a particular AD group
-Creating that user's home folder(s)
-Adding/changing the default NTFS permissions for that folder
I know it seems like a tall order but I *have* been perusing an untold amount of online scripting sites to no avail. Most all seem to be split into 2 categories: WAY simplistic or WAY over my head. MS has extensive scripting resources - including mucho scripting samples - but they do fall into the latter.
Any ideas or suggestions greatly appreciated....
