One suggestion, do not rip off your customers. Tell them upfront that when they purchase Registry Mechanic, that is reverts back to a trial program at the end of one year. One would think the program would keep working and you just would not be able to update the database or the program. All other programs people buy keep working after the subscription time expires. You guys are dirty. &^*%$&& you.

For what its worth, Im quite happy to pay $US19.95 for renewing RM, i find it to be a most useful program. It does an excellent job in repairing/removing the invalid entries. At least I know PC tools is constantly working on improving this program and plus with the tech support team, which have solved many of my problems.

I saw in another post that RM still functions when the license subscription has expired. Is this true?

Hi mileskc,

I'd like to clarify - the current version of Registry Mechanic does not revert back to the trial version after expiry. So this means you can continue to Scan, Compact, Optimize and Repair with Registry Mechanic.

When you continue your subscription of Registry Mechanic by renewing it, you continue your access to Smart Update (which provides you with any necessary program updates), get the latest versions as they are released and access to Technical Support.

I am not sure how you came to be informed that it reverts to trial, but I can assure you it shouldn't. If for some reason your version has reverted to trial, we'd be happy to follow up for you. Please PM us with more details and your license code.

Hope that clears things up.

Jessica,
Hi, I do not have my origianl product code for my RM. I bought this a year ago this month. I have been talking to a William Hesketh in customer support. He is telling me that, well just let me copy and paste what he says:

Registry Mechanic will cease to function as a fully registered program when it ceases to be fully registered. Please note that we do not state that the features granted by a license will remain once the license expires, nor can I cannot provide a free license code.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this email.

Kind Regards,

William
