I'm having a problem trying to connect to certain sites by means of logging in through a pop-up window. On some sites, you go to log in, the site asks you for your username and password in a window that says "Connect to..... Username:... Password:....". Anyways, when I fill in the correct information (100% sure), the small 'Connect to' box simply refreshes itself, and I am unable to log in. Oddly- I used to be able to log in just fine. Suddenly this is happening.
Another instance of a possibly similar related topic is- when I follow a link in say a forum, possibly to a picture- all other forum members are allowed to view the page, but when I click it says
"Forbidden" on a blank white page. I've been told to retore default settings, clear cookies, and all that stuff, with no success. I'm thinking its an unknown security setting. (Also if it helps- I installed another browser {Firefox} and it does the same thing). Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
